There’s nothing I’m more passionate about than helping people feel their best through fitness. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to work with incredible clients, each with unique goals and journeys.

Laura has really got that balance between being a great listener as well as an advisor. Giving up is never an option working with Laura, and in the early days I think I had times where I felt like giving up, because I had a very all or nothing mindset and was anxious to live up to expectations (which she didn't actually have!). Laura has taught me that effort looks different depending on the day, the hour, the situation. For example when I've dealt with illness or stress, moving forwards might just mean focusing on hydration or rest; when things are more settled, that's when you can focus on workouts, step goals and nutrition. I’m no longer stuck in a cycle of starting and stopping and instead have cultivated a flexible approach.  

One of the most valuable aspects of working with Laura has been her ability to help me challenge unhelpful habits and patterns in a way that feels supportive and achievable, not overwhelming. Dealing with a chronic illness, Laura has adapted training to suit my body’s changeable needs. If you’re considering working with a trainer and have a chronic illness, Laura will work with your body, not against it and it might be surprising what you can do! 

I also have a history of disordered eating, including binge eating, and Laura has been incredibly mindful of that, adapting our approach to help me reach my goals in a healthy, sustainable way. She's been a completely safe, non-judgemental, healthy addition to my recovery alongside the psychological support I've received. She’s thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable, but also down-to-earth and fun—I always enjoy our sessions and messages!

If you’re worried about being pushed too hard, being told to 'feel the burn' or following fad diets, you won’t get that with Laura. She’s always appropriate and creates a plan that’s not only good for your body but also your mind. The lessons I’ve learned with her have had a huge ripple effect on other areas of my life, in my work and relationships. How could it not!

“Laura’s input has been invaluable for me. Coming from a background of erratic eating and ‘boom and bust’ mentality, she has worked through these issues with me in a really methodical, calm and practical way. I never believed I could eat in a ‘normal’ way and Laura has set about a really clear and sensible plan for me which I feel I have benefitted hugely from. I feel calmer around food and no longer feel like jumping from faddy diet to diet in the pursuit of a quick fix. I’m happy that I can work at things in a more sustainable way and aware that this will take time and consistency.

I’ve never strength trained at all, but with Laura’s guidance I’m now training 2-3 times per week and have seen the progress week on week. Laura’s guidance and feedback on form have been invaluable! I love strength training now and have stopped seeing cardio as the ‘only’ way to help with fitness goals.

I couldn’t recommend Laura more highly, she has a huge amount of knowledge and knows how to encourage you in the right way. All her advice is tailored to you and your lifestyle / work / family set up and is achievable and realistic. “I have worked with Laura for just over 18 months, and my life has changed quite immeasurably in that time, although not necessarily in the way I expected!

I signed up for an online coach as I was unhappy with my weight and how I felt, although it wasn’t until I had to take my progress pictures I realised how out of control this had got. Stress, covid and busy mum times meant that weight had actually crept on without me realising.

 Laura started with addressing my sleep, which with two small boys and a busy family life was not brilliant.  More sleep led to more energy, and we started to build my exercise habit again. I then started working in more NEAT (general movement & steps)  Laura was always very sensitive to how overwhelmed I was with family life so we kept the nutrition piece until recently where I have started to incorporate adjustments to one meal at a time.

One of the things I particularly benefit from with Laura’s coaching, apart from the amazing personalised workouts, is Laura helping me to tweak my exercise to suit where I am at on a particular day.  

I have slowly but surely lost 10kg, but much more unexpected and important than that is I feel the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever felt, with the energy to get up and show up for my family and for my work and I am confident it is this newfound energy and exuberance that has secured me an increasing quantity of my perfect clients and jobs!  Lots of teeny tiny tweaks have made such a difference to my life, my family and my work, and I am enormously grateful for everything Laura has helped support me to achieve.”
