My coaching ethos is centred around empowering individuals to achieve lasting health and fitness through a sustainable approach.
Meet Laura
I’m Laura, an ex-professional dancer turned fitness coach. My journey into the world of health and fitness began in the challenging environment of professional dance, where I struggled with an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise during my training and career.
Determined to take control of my health, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being. This journey of self-education transformed not only my body but also my mindset, allowing me to develop a sustainable and balanced approach to health.
Today, as a coach, I am passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals without falling into the traps of quick fixes and extreme measures. With a background in dance, I understand the importance of balance, discipline, and dedication.
I believe in creating personalised plans that integrate seamlessly into your daily life, ensuring that the results you achieve are lifelong transformations. My commitment to education, support, and accountability helps you gain the knowledge and independence needed to maintain your progress.
Join me, and embark on a journey towards a healthier, stronger, and more confident you.
Fun Facts…
What’s your favourite type of cuisine or dish?
Italian. All the way. Pizza, pasta, gelato.. Close second would be Thai.
What is the most interesting place you have ever visited?
I worked as professional dancer on a few world cruises during my career, so I’ve seen a lot of the world. Japan is up there with one of my favourite countries.
Do you have a favourite type of workout?
I’m a huge advocate for strength training but I love nothing more than a long run with a banging playlist or a fun class with my friends.
What’s your favourite way to unwind or relax after a manic week?
A lazy Sunday is my favourite thing in the world. A good coffee (I am an absolute coffee snob) and a freshly baked pastry with my fiancé Russ is something I look forward to each week.
What is one fitness myth you wish people would stop believing?
Where do I begin.. Probably that lifting weights makes women bulky…
How do you stay motivated when you don’t feel like working out?
I don’t. Motivation is up and down and it’s impossible to feel motivated all the time. Finding something you enjoy and focusing on how it makes you feel is key to sticking to a workout routine. Being disciplined is what keeps me going.
